Start Now – Fix the New York Republican Party

On November 6; Republicans lost a humiliating election. The next important Republican election comes on Friday November 16 – let’s win this one – replace the inept Senate Leader – Fire John Flanagan. Flanagan is Cuomo’s puppet he votes for Cuomo’s agenda, voted for the UnSafe Act and likely will vote for Unsafe Act Part 2 among other things.

After the devastating election results, it’s easy to see the New York Republican Party has hit rock bottom. If the party continues to be run as it has been in the past it is a recipe for disaster that will lead our state to more corruption, cronyism and so-called “progressive” left-wing policies that punish the middle class. If nothing changes: Can you sense the exodus of many more Republicans leaving the state?

To Turn Things Around, the Republican Party Must Take Bold Action. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what the biggest problem is here. It’s inept leadership. The glaring problems are Ed Cox and John Flanagan. Both should resign. They won’t resign: So; it is up the party to remove them from their leadership positions. Start by installing a new Senate leader – immediately.

Under the Senate leadership of John Flanagan; New York has been run like a one party system. Flanagan is responsible for giving Cuomo everything he asks for. This is why the voters soundly reject the Republican Party. Be honest – Flanagan must join Skelos if the party is to regain any respect whatsoever.

New Yorkers want a functioning 2 party system. A good start to restoring a 2 party system is by removing Flanagan from a leadership role. Please do this – immediately. Thank you.
